Dr. K. Anil Kumar selected as best teacher of Veterinary Faculty
Dr K Anilkumar is selected for the best teacher award instituted
by Dr. P. G .Nair for the best teacher in the veterinary faculty. The award consists of a medal, memento and a cash
prize of Rs 5000/. Dr K Anilkumar is 1982 batch veterinary graduate of College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy.
He had worked as veterinary surgeon in the department of Animal Husbandry for more than 5 years and joined the Kerala Agricultural
University in 1994. Currently he is working as Associate Professor, Animal Breeding and Genetics in College of Veterinary
and Animal Sciences, Pookot. His wife Dr Rajashri Menon is a pediatrician working in Guruvayoor and has a daughter Chitramenon
(8th std) and a son Madhav Menon (3rd std). Dr Anilkumar is also recipient of Mid career scientist award of Indian Society
of Veterinary Immunology and Biotechnology. He has completed many research and is currently in charge of two major projects
worth 1.36 crores and 1.75 crores respectively.

How Can You Join IVA?
|
|
|
Any person possessing a recognised degree in veterinary
science is eligible for admission to the Association.
At present there are 3000 members. This includes graduates working
in government, private institutions, and universities as well as those who have retired from service. Application for membership
may be submitted to the General Secretary either direct or through the Secretaries of the district units.
Admission
Fee : Rs. 50.00
Annual Subscription : Rs.300.00
